Because I've just completely abandoned social media, this is a supposed revival of me..journaling, I suppose. In high school, I used to journal every single day and would sometimes even write down complete nonsense, and I have no idea why I stopped doing it. I think I can pinpoint the end of that era being summer of 2023 when I was just having a slew of fun on vacation in Hawaii to visit family--omg no I take that back. And btw I'm not backspacing because that would be likened to erasing, which took so much effort that I often would not do it when I was journaling. So, everything I make the mistake of writing stays here for authenticity. This is who I am.

See how great I am at going on tangents? I meant to correct myself quickly and say that it started either prior to the trip in Hawaii when I was studying abroad in Costa Rica that same summer. That, or the few months that predated the summer, when some things that occured in my life set me back and completely derailed me off of my course. I think that sounds right. The situation was so strange that journaling was the least of my worries. During that time, I picked up stretching as a hobby, and wanted to be a contortionist like the Cirque Du Soleil performer Elena Lev. Holy everything. Please click on the link and watch that, she's still so cool to me.

Anyway, I stopped journaling at some point! Lets establish that so I can stop getting caught in irrelevant information!

How's my life now? Well, I code, I run my dog, Jack, who is the sweetest and purest soul you have ever known if you've ever had the pleasure of meeting him. I could write an entire blog article just about this bundle of joy and love. He is peace in fur. He is so kind and happy to see you, happy to see everyone, and he is so easy when it comes to accepting and giving love that I genuinely just believe him to be an angel. Some (WRONG!) would say that this is because he's a Golden Retriever but I believe that its because he's him. Anyway, I do love him.

I also love chess! I play chess everyday, and I've been teaching my neighbor's granddaughter (let's call her O for privacy reasons) how to play for a while now. She's three, and a joy to be around just because all children are, but I've learned tons from coaching her. I also can't even believe I'm writing that because my life was just so different a year ago; two years ago. What's that line from Jolene (2008)??? Literally just Googled it. It is GENUINELY just "Life changes fast." and it does.

Speaking of chess! I am wanting to build an analyses page where I post my games and analyze them; hope that's entertaining to some of you when I do actually end up doing it. Omg. I am realizing all of the cool stuff I can do with a platform like this. I am hopinig to post my outfits and my fav movies and books because I do read like some alcoholics drink. I am always looking for my next fix btw and just to get it out of the way right now, some of my fav books are Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep by Dick, Foundation by Asimov, Interview With A Vampire by Anne Rice (I'm probably gonna write a whole blogpost about her...weird...self. Has anyone here read Sleeping Beauty trilogy by her? Unbelievable. I guess she got tired of writing about vampires.) Omg and my fav shows are Duchess of Duke Street, H20 Mermaids, The Shannara Chronices...MY LITTE FRICKIN PONY Movies...idk I don't feel like writing a super long list; just look at my scrollbar on my main page hereand use your imagination or guess or something. But, I do love historical epics so much. Doctor Zhivago, Ben-Hur, Quo Vadis...omg.Now I wanna write a blogpost just about Doctor Zhivago.

So, before I bore you: coding, chess, reading, writing...LIKE CRAZY..omg..I cannot link to my stuff cause I feel a certain way about my writing but you'll have to trust that it's good. I also love to long-distance bike and in the summer are usually doing up to thirty miles. That's a way to kill a day. And! I like to make loom bracelets and doodle :) I used to doodle in my journals and they had some semblance of prettiness usually.

Yesterday I thought about how I stopped journaling and it sort of made me sad. I know in life we move on from things, but for you to just love something and leave it always feels bittersweet. Sort of like how I left contortionism behind, and how I don't stretch anymore. Am I just going to stop journaling through here, and stop long-distance biking perhaps, and reading and writing? To stop to me, is like death. So, if I don't post for a while, please hold me accountable in my guestbook!

I think I'm quite finished. Thanks for reading, and bye!!
