Hey! I am really not complaining, despite however the title of this blogpost might look. I'm sort of just..what's the word? Shocked? Summer starts in 19 days according to The Old Farmer's Almanac, and I have 15 days left of school which is just a day over two weeks. I'm actually thrilled! And I've had a wonderful twelve days since my last blogpost. I'm still kind of riding the high of my first successful tournament but am going to talk about other things because for the most part, all you guys read about here is chess chess chess, me me me, Jack, Jack, Jack (I love him so much), more more more, MORE CHESS.
Not only am I weirded out by the passage of time but simultaneously I want school to be finished with. I cancelled chess club this week just because I was so tired and didn't want to coordinate any sort of activity, and our advisor was super busy grading in preparation for finals so it wouldn't have felt worth it. I still got some chess in by coaching O. But on the flip side, I have more free time to study and should actually be doing that so I pass with favorable grades in my math finals this quarter, instead of coding my ootd page just so you guys can see what I wear.
Shoe and jewlery holic, kind of like Ginger Mckenna. Maybe just as insane too.
Omg. Me and a bunch of students had a conference back in April and I spent last night up into THIS MORNING doing my slide so that our group can present a proposal to cabinet for funding. And it made me realize how insanely fast I can attack a task if I merely find the willpower. I was trying to make it readable and everything at first before I kind of just..let loose and started doing whatever I wanted and cluttering it around. Now that's finished, and I'm not nervous for the presentation. I've been distracting myself from any nervousness by telling my dog, Jack, about all of my problems. And to keep busy, I'm kind of just planning my next tournament, reading, and watching Casino and Gentlemen Prefer Blondes over and over and over again with Jack.
I was SUPPOSED to be rewatching Death Note for the first time in about four years because my friend is doing some analysis project about the connection between the Bible and its references in Death Note but I lit cannot find the time and I'm doing a million other things. And its sort of difficult for me to sit and watch a television show anyway because it makes my life feel like its going in this weird..loop? If that makes any sense at all.
short blog, kinda just wrote it cause I'm bored and you may be noticing by this point that I've just filled it with gifs of beautiful women. With all that out of my system, happy summer (saying this 19 days early) smooch I love YOU ALL.
Nu out!
